ABOUT US
Chloe Beverley-Schack is a Sydney based Object Designer, Maker & Educator.
After completing her Bachelor of Design, at the College of Fine Arts UNSW, she established the design practice ‘littlegreenseed’. Designing & hand-making one off’s & collections of high end contemporary porcelain jewellery, table/kitchenware, lighting & objet d'art.
Through her passion for design & life, she loves to explore & test the boundaries of the materials she is working with, giving life to fresh & inspiring designs. All the pieces she produces are quality, unique & inspiring designs, which are crafted by hand, making each a piece of art that she hopes will be cherished by her clients.
Chloe has recently become fascinated with succulents through creating her beautiful balcony garden, which then led to making bespoke arrangements for succulent lovers across Sydney. She also documents her journey visually through her instagram account @designersuccers and teaches the art of growing & designing with succulents to others.
Chloe’s inspiration stems from her fascination with nature and its organic beauty & complexity. She also sees the aesthetic appeal in the form of everyday found objects.
“Just like a seed my design process starts with an object or idea, that then grows & changes, sometimes with purpose but often organically as if it had a life of it's very own! From a simple ball of clay can emerge an object that amazes & inspires the senses. Whether it be the soft marble like tactility of polished porcelain or the warm glow & shadows than emanate when light combines with translucent porcelain”.
Chloe is also a qualified Design & Technology/ Visual Arts teacher and holds creative workshops and classes around Sydney for children & adults.
She is currently completing a Master of Education at The University of New South Wales specialising in special and inclusive education, which is an area she is very passionate about and looks forward to teaching.
